Standing Committees  
Adult Education Committee
Works with the Rabbi to develop a range of Adult Education programming.

Chair: Rich Lombardi

 
Building and Grounds Committee
Develops and implements a long-range plan for maintaining the Temple building and grounds. Schedules volunteer work days/clean-ups and handles emergency repairs. Supervises and serves as contact for janitorial service, lawn care service and snow removal, as well as for major repairs and maintenance.

Caring Committee
Provides help and support networks to congregants facing illness and crises. This committee has its own page on this site.

Communications Committee
Oversees Temple communications, including production of the Bulletin, maintenance of the web site and listserves, and contributions to the Jewish Press.

Finance Committee
Oversees management of the Endowment Fund and overall financial plan. Prepares the annual budget.

 Fundraising Committee

Organizes Temple fundraising events, raises endowment funds and oversees gift shop.

Chair: Amy Zlotsky

Hospitality Committee
Oversees the provision of refreshments at Temple events, including stocking kitchen supplies, coordinating and scheduling oneg providers, and providing guidance to congregants in preparation, clean-up and lock up after Temple events.

Membership Committee
Encourages membership through personal contacts and mailings, welcomes new members, prepares materials for membership purposes.

Pulpit Committee
Organizes lay participation in services, arranges assignments for High Holidays, and schedules lay-led services.

Chair: David Williss

Social Action Committee
Keeps up with public affairs issues relating to Judaism that face the community; educates, sensitizes and recommends positions to the congregation; oversees Templesocial action programs and educates members about issues affecting the Jewish Community.  This committee has its own page on this site.

Religious School Committee
Works with the Rabbi to organize and administer the religious school, and B’nai Mitzvot preparation.

Bylaws
Develops amendments to the Temple’s Constitution as needed.

Long-Range Plan Committee
Developed a Master Plan to determine future facility needs and alternatives and costs for addressing those needs.

Nominating Committee
Prior to the Congregational Annual Meeting, prepares slate of nominees to the Board of Trustees.
