Study is a vital part of being Jewish today. We no longer live in a world where we are surrounded by Jewish culture and philosophy. To learn these in the modern era we must go to the temple and delve into the wisdom of our sages and texts. Having this educated foundation, gives us the ability to live and think as Jews.
